on there they have brilliant timetables etc and best of all signalling maps with real time train locations shown for a large number of locations one of which being London Waterloo... very useful if like me you work for a company that goes into and out of Waterloo...

I started reading ages ago having applied to SWT to be a driver myself. I never heard back. Since then though I've worked for First Great Western as a customer service advisor in a ticket office. In May I applied internally for trainee driver and just heard I've made it all the way through and passed the DM interview so just a medical to go and a start date to be advised !
I found your blog interesting and informative, well written and entertaining.
